Kitchen Redo

A little bit of fabric goes a long way in brightening this kitchen. I made these curtains and recovered a dingy old high chair pad (for a friend) and it looks like a million bucks!

Deorating Projects...

Isn't this bedroom gorgeous?? We pulled it together with the tiniest budget on earth, and and a lot of blood sweat and tears.

Princess and Frog Twin Baby Shower

My sweet friend, Carrie, is having TWINS! She already has 2 wild little boys at home, and she is expecting a boy and a girl. We decided on a fairy tale theme, with an heavy emphasis on the PRINCESS. It was so fun to throw this together with 2 other wonderful ladies who made all the salads, bread, drinks and fixed my botched e-vite. I still have a lot to learn about putting together a party!

So fun.

I have been having fun entertaining myself lately with lots of cheap home-improvement projects (spray painting in the garage!), sewing projects and hoping for Spring to finally arrive! This was my daughter's Easter dress. She looks daring in it! These pants, below are size 3 and added to my shop today. Remember it is angelamckellar.etsy.com. Things online with the etsy shop have been really slow- I know it takes time to get things going there, but I have been busy enough with word of mouth business around town.

My photographer friend (jolenereed.blogspot.com) did an amazing Easter photo shoot. I helped her with set-up, and we used a bunch of my pastel and light colored quilts I have made over the years.

Sneak Peek

I am still working on reviving my etsy shop, but here is something pretty to look at in the meantime! My photographer has done an amazing job!
These pants are my new favorite. They are called "fancy pants", and come in rose, turquoise, peacock blue, hot pink, silver-grey, and apple green. I can make them in size 1 to 6. They are made of silk, satin and lace! Perfect! I am already taking custom orders, so leave a comment or send me an e-mail if you need some now. They come with matching headbands ($10 value) and cost $47.

This dress is a size 5 and is ready to ship for $42, I am also making these capri lace leggings for $19.

This knot dress and matching headband are show-stoppers! $55. I am also doing custom orders, you let me know what colors/fabrics/size you would like and I will put something together in about 2 weeks. I will have it ready for Easter. I am selling the stripe knit, ankle length ruffle pants in green or pink for $22.

New Headband and Skirt

This skirt and headband combo were so fun to make. They were based on ideas I have seen around, but I didn't use a pattern. Caroline calls it her princess skirt. Thanks to Jolene for the awesome photos!
